Together with Harvard University’s Project Zero, 香港6合开奖结果has invested in three new Global Studies Schools. Teacher Fellows at all schools connect their content and teaching to global issues through monthly seminars with leading global education experts, and in bi-weekly professional learning communities at their school site. The project takes the local cultural capital of our city–香港6合开奖结果’s diversity, cultural life, neighborhood identities, cultural institutions, NGOs and international presence–cultivate students’ global competence, opening their minds and engagement with the world while also deepening their sense of belonging to the nation’s capital.

  • Elementary school: PK through fifth grade students at H.D. Cooke Elementary School are engaging in daily global thinking routines, weekly World Language instruction, and exciting partnerships like Embassy Adoption Program.
  • Middle school: Middle schools students at MacFarland Middle School have access not only to a dual language content experience starting in 6th grade, but teachers who are engaged in the globalized curriculum.
  • High school: Roosevelt High School students have access to increased global electives, multiple World Languages, unique global partners and visitors, and global content across subject areas.
